I have found that one stream of my fathers ancestors came from Ireland. I have found them on the census but place of birth was given only as Ireland. I am looking for Henry Molloy, son of Henry Molloy and Nancy Preston and his wife Catherine Mcdermid/McDearmid/McDermaid/McDermott ? daughter of Phillip McDermid(etc) and Helen Gough. Henry's dob varies wildly ranging from 1812 - 1825 (def. him as Edinburgh address remains constant), with him dying 1.11.1885. Catherines age is also suspect as in 1881 aged 40 with a 28/30 yr old son??? she died 20.3.1882.
