Back on track to the Gibby thread.

Omega ~ Searched LTA's the earlist for Wiston is 1786 and the only reference is to Richard Gibby occupier of the West Dairy. I have taken a jpeg of the entry if you require it.

Searched the Name Index for the Gibby surname. As you can imagine there are more than a few covering 18th & 19th Century, but nothing reference Morris Gibby.

Whilst doing some research for myself I came across the funeral of one Mrs Gibby of Llanycefn. It was not so much the lady herself that might be of interest to you, but the vast number of various Gibby's and named relations that attended. If you want a jpeg drop me an email address of list.

Hi, I just joined rootschat and found your thread for Gibby's Pembroke. I have an Elizabeth Gibby b. 1787 Boulston, Pembrokeshire. She married William Page (My 4 x gt grandfather) at Llawhaden, Pembs on 10 November 1810. Lived at Creminefach (Carminefach on some posts) died 26 July 1863, buried at Llanddewi Velfrey.
I have her parents as Thomas Gibby 1759-1809 and Elizabeth Pendry 1765-1857.
I have Thomas Gibby's parents as Thomas Gibby 1718-1792 West dairy Wiston, Pembs. and Hannah (Ann) Llewlling 1724-1796. Beyond that is pretty much guesswork and trusting ancestry.com contributors who have them linked to Maurice Gibby/Jennet Thomas and Rowland Llewelling/Catherine Adams. I would appreciate any help available in clarifying this. Many thanks
