Hi Lyn

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hi Ticker,

Thanks for your enquiry about my progress re George Wilkinson.

I have got more information about the Wilkinson family through descendants on Genes Reunited.

As ever the search goes on!

Hi Edmund,

Are there any more details please? George is probably from the family but as there were quite a few of them I'm not sure if it's my George or his cousin.

Thanks,
Lyn

Also there are George ,Ann, Mary, Thomas, and Martha in the village.

No apart from he was born in Yorkshire.
The 1841 don't give a lot away.
The others are:

Back Street:

George 50 ag lab,
Ann 20,
Mary 12,
Thomas 10.
All born Yorkshire.

Front Street:
Martha 30 F.S.

Thanks Edmund, that is really helpful. It is definitely my George. Interestingly I haven't got Ann and Martha on my tree so that gives me some more to work on. It was a rather large extended family with names repeated down generations so it's a bit of a tangled web but as each piece of jigsaw comes to light I am slowly getting there.

Thanks again,
Lyn
