Hi
I've no involvement with the PARROTs as far as I know but did take some photos of Patrington Haven a year or two back.
The one attached is of the war menorial which mentions some Parrots.

I have some gravestone photos from Patrington and Paull on my Flickr account which you could look at but I don't think there are any PARROTs

Cropped version so you can read the inscription.
The original is about 2 Mb so I could not load it as was.

I walked round the graveyard at Patrington and my son took photos of Parrot graves whilst doing an assignment on Philip Larkin, he is going to dig them out this week.

Thankyou Bryan for the photos.  I live in Australia so they are well received by me!  Also Joe, I will be eagerly waiting to see if you find your photos of the Parrott headstones!

Hi everyone,

Joe has sent me some headstone photos and I have reduced them for him to post on here.  The first one reads:-

Memory of
James Turner Parrot

aged 7 years
Also Ann and Jemima, daughters
of the above who died in their

And souls and bodies rise
What crowds will wish their lives below
Had been as short as yours.

I don't have Harriet & her family in my tree at the present.  Where does she fit in????

In Affectionate Remembrance
of
Harriet Smith Parrott
the beloved daughter of
John and Margaret Parrott
who fell asleep in Jesus
on the 8th of March 1876
Aged 17 Years.
Jesus the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease,
Tis music in the sinner's ears,
Tis life, and health, and peace.
