[I can check if the Bingham's owned anymore graves but I am doubtful of a straightforward route to see that info. What I mean is, I might have to do some cross-referencing.

dancing lady...I have information for you regarding your Simpsons that I will send you later on. I could not find William but will have another go next time I'm in the archives. I did find Lucy though. I'll be in touch shortly.

Matt :)

General Cemetery

I have some Inscriptions from NFHS Cd, with a section number, and also some grave numbers from Archives, wondering if there is a guide to plot positions in the cemetery to help in searching for them

Hi,

I have PM'd you.

If your folk are Jesse and Matilda, then they are both in the same place, both section 10 along with their daughter Annie Barnes.

Best wishes,

Hello
I am trying to find where my great grandfather is buried.  He died in 1904 at Bagthorpe Workhouse and Infirmary.  I have seen other people mention that their ancestors died there and were buried in Nottingham General Cemetery.

Is there anyone with the CD that could please look up Robert Alfred Corder, dying 20th June 1904 in Bagthorpe Workhouse?

Thanks in advance!!!!
Watson Corder Sidlow Robinson Jones

Hi,

Welcome to Rootschat!

I have checked the CD for the Gen Cem, but they are for monumental inscriptions- not burials.  Sadly he is not listed.

Have you seen this site - it might be worth you contacting them to ask about burials.

As a guess, I would imagine you may have  better luck by trying Nottingham Archive.

Someone will be along to tell you!

Sorry for not posting sooner...I am no longer in Nottingham and so cannot offer lookups anymore.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
