kathleen (kate) milburn of london
« on: Wednesday 13 October 10 18:07 BST (UK) »
i am looking at possibilities for kate b 1884 everton/liverpool who lived in 1891c with parents william/mary in bromley. sister was catherine b 1890 bromley and also called kate later. in 1901c only 'kate' b 1890 found and in 1911c only one close match but wrong birth district. no fbmd record so did she die between 1891 and 1911 and/or married?

hi karenlee

thank you and, you appear to have solved a problem

data does not fit and likely skinner was not her m name

milburn was correct spelling but at times there was variance (eg melbourne used twice in census)

reason being kathleen was b 1884 to william and mary

she was called kate in 1891c and she had a sister catherine b 1890
in 1901c, there was only kate b 1890 in 1901 so this was kate?

what happened to original kate, did she die between 1891 and 1901?

1911c had few kates and one b 1884 (stated from essex) presumed to be mispelling (milbourn) but now we do not think so

do fbmd record of early kate death or marriage other than to a hugh myott 1924 chelsea 1a-944. no myott child so perhaps she did m hugh, or she died 1891/1911
