*COMPLETED* Milton Ernest Churchyard - CARR
« on: Thursday 14 October 10 02:16 BST (UK) »
My gg grandmother, Mary Ann Pratt Carr, wife of Jeremiah Carr, died 20 Oct 1887 and is buried in Milton Ernest Churchyard.  Would someone have a listing of tombstones for this churchyard?  If possible, I would like to know if there is a tombstone for Mary Ann and what it says.  Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Hello Sue;    The Beds FHS surveyed All Saints Milton Ernest churchyard in 1989 & again in 2002, & recorded the Monumental Inscriptions & published these in 2008. I can check the hard-copy at our next meeting - the first Friday in November. These are also available to purchase on microfiche & our included on the Milton Ernest parish records CD, also available.

See ... http://www.bfhs.org.uk/

I do not know if it includes any Carrs.

regards John

Thanks, John.  I'd appreciate if you could have a look when you get a chance.  My Carrs were not from the Milton Ernest area but my gg grandfather was working there as a gardener at the time.  He died in London years later after having remarried, so I expect Mary Ann would be the only family member buried there, and may or may not have a tombstone.

Regards,
Sue
