Hello,
I am looking for some help tracing the birth record for my grandmother.
I have her marriage certificate from 1926 where it states her full name is Eleanor Helena Millen.  Her father is listed as Richard Millen.  Her age according to the certificate was 21 therefore making her birth year circa 1905.  I have checked the 1911 census and have found a family that consists of Richard Millen (father), Elizabeth Millen (mother) and among other children a Nellie aged 6 born in Poplar at 155 Brunswick Road.  That is about it.  I cannot seem to locate a birth record for her.  Her parents seemed to have moved between Sheerness and Poplar.
Can anybody help me throw some light on this please?

I forgot to mention that I have got a copy of that birth certificate and the father is shown as Edward not Richard.
