Hi Maurice was also the ucle off my great grand father I think his father might have been called Charles or willaim I can't remember but he was from the 2n marriage to Mary anne callaghan Patrick higney joined the army at 16 and was in ww2 he was in the army for 18 years he was in Germany crete India palastine and a few other places he was captured in crete by the German p.o.w but managed to escape he was also shot in the back offthe head but was very lucky to survive I have his war book and can sent you copies if you would like to contact me.
