A great book for finding dates Church records began in Ireland is
Brian Mitchell, A Guide to Irish Parish Registers. Genealogical Publishing Cpo., Inc. (Galtimore 1988)


It gives the starting dates for Church of Ireland Parishes, Roman Catholic Parishes, Presbyterian Congregation, & other Protestant dissenting congregations.

Julia
