George Kennedy REID - Siam and Singapore

My Greatgrandfather, originally from Scotland, died in Singapore in 1916 after having lived for approximately 20 years in Siam.   He and my Greatgrandmother, Eliza Ann "Annie" Hitchings, married in Wales although they apparently met while both lived abroad.  After the marriage they returned to Siam and 2 of their 3 children were born there.  Greatgranddad worked, apparently, for the Royal Family tending to their horses.

This is pretty much the only information I have on them.  Can anyone offer some suggestions on how I might learn more about their lives while in Asia?
