Hello All,
thanks so much for your replies. I will follow up with the Bedfordshire Family History Society regarding the CD, but don't you need to be a member of those Society's to order CDroms???
I had a quick glance at the National Memorial Inscription website, thanks. Can't seem to spot my lot (except a possible match for one). But I will keep looking in more detail. Cheers.
To Diarmuid,
thank you very much for the offer to check any names for me, and then post them online. I should tell you I have a long list I want checked so it would be rather unfair to expect you to do all the leg work for me. I am happy to buy a CDrom in the hopes it has even a sprinkling of my ancestors and their families listed.
Lastly, I checked out that other thread for Braybrooks in Sandy.....it seems it was started two years ago, but even so, it looks like that person is a relative! I am a descendant of James BRAYBROOK(S) and Elizabeth BASS - so their ancestor Matilda BRAYBROOK b. 1841 Sandy, is a sister to my GGG grandmother Theresa BRAYBROOK b. 1828 Little Staughton, Hunts.
I will add a message to that thread and see if we can help each other out with any gaps.
Thanks again everyone. Much obliged.
Regards,
Janine
