I was going to suggest a David Jones and Elizabeth Williams as possible parents for John David but a Tree I have access to on Genes Reunited suggests otherwise.

There is also a Marriage at Llangollen in 1819 of a David Jones and an Elizabeth Roberts.

For what it is worth, I think it would be highly unlikely in that the person who signed a will in 1802 would still be alive in 1820 to father a child.  The majority of people in the 18th and 19th cent seemed to sign wills in late old age - a year or two before fading away or just hours or days before they died.
