Hi,
    Tubbernapastia is given as my grandmothers birthplace on her birth certificate in 1911.

Is this some long forgotten suburb of Freshford? I can't find any mention of it on Google.

Her name is HANORA CODY by the way.

Can anyone help?

Hi Dan,

The spelling should be - Tobernapeastia.

It is a townland of 219 acres in the Barony of Crannagh, parish of Freshford.
