Sykes / Taylor burial lookup please
« on: Sunday 31 October 10 23:00 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Its brick wall time for me. I'm looking for information on Sykes and Taylor burials.

Philip John Sykes, Born in London in 1850, shows on the 1901 census (age 51). His wife was Maria and was listed as a coal miner in 1901 and living in Rowley Regis. I know his son is buried at Rowley Crem.

Also, Francis (AKA Frank), born in Rowley Regis, married to Olive and listed as a coalminer in 1911, he died in November 1941 and I'm desperate to trace him.

All help greatfully received
Thankyou

Have you checked freebmd for his death - I can see a possible entry in 1925 in Staffordshire but birthyear approx 1844

Francis died in Dewsbury Yorkshire
