David Simpson Railway guard of Londonderry

Hi
I am looking for info on my great grandfather David Simpson, David worked on the railway's around Derry in the early 1900's, he had some sort of accident on the railway and died in 1906 aged 46/7.Is there anywhere i can get info on the railway in the 1900's,i would like to know what happened to him. Hi,
     The 1901 census for Ireland has a David Simpson who was a Station Master at Ballykelly living with his wife, Louisa, son Robert Hayes aged 13 and daughter Louisa aged 9 in Walworth. If this looks like your David I may be able to find more information.

Many thanks for your quick reply.
Unfortunatley this is not my David,he was married to Elizabeth and had 7 children.They lived on the Waterside (Violet Street) Derry and later Elizabeth lived on King Street, not sure if Elizabeth moved here after David's death.

David also had a brother called Robert who worked on the railway,Robert was married to Catherine.

I think the Irish Railway Record Society may have access to old staff records for all the main railway companies. They are based at Heuston Station, Dublin.
