Courtesy of a kind assistant look up at DUdley gives

16.04.1860 – Holy Trinity, Amblecote – By Banns
John Tranter (X), 23, B, Puddler, Amblecote, Father George Tranter, Roller
Pamela Clee (X), 25, S, Amblecote, John Clee, Bottle Blower
Wit :  Deorge Shuck (X) and Phoebe Shuck (X)

and

04 Sep 1853 – St Thomas, Dudley, By Banns
Henrey Cley (X), FA, B, Puddler of Dudley, Father James Cley, Keeper
Pamela Hayden (X), Min, S of Dudley, Father John Hayden, Glass Bottle Maker
Wit :  Henry Hayden (X) and Eliza Andrews (X)

both brides fathers are John, a bottle worker.
from 41/51 censuses Pamela Hayden has a brother Henry (witness) to Cley/Haden marriage and a sister Phoebe

Witness to the Pamela Clee marriage is George (Deorge??)and Phoebe Shuck
in q4/1857 George Shuck married Phoebe Haden. Tthat took some checking as the FreeBMD indexes aren’t complete/accurate, but checking the appropriate images confirmed this. The reference in bmd q4/1857 Stourbridge 6c 324 (my transcription from originals, not FreeBMD)

Checking with wmbmd
SHUCK, George, HADEN, Phebe, Stourbridge Register Office, Dudley Register Office, 001/003/133

I think that’s enough to go with this as confirmation Pamela Clee = Pamela Haden
Tweedie, Garnett,  Smith - !!!, Fearnley,
Bennetts, Waterhouse, Horobin, Tranter

It looks to me as though Pamela remarried as a spinster and put John Clee, instead of John Hayden as father.

Yes- my thoughts exactly, or perhaps they ask her name, she says Pamela Clee and declares spinster, gets asked her father's name she says 'John' and the registrar adds 'Clee' to the fathers name without checking.

Did Henry Cley die ( cant find), seperated long enough (7yrs) or - as I have in another context where
Couple mary, have 2 kids
husband emigrated shortly after 2nd child born
one year later she remarried as spinster and has another family
he also remarried in the USA and had a family there.

WHo knows - more digging required,
