Hi to everyone.  Some fantastic photos coming through, thankyou so much.  Interesting observation about the hoppers huts in the background, hadn't taken much notice of them.  Very 'Kentish' as not only is Granny holding hops, it also appears she has an apple in the other hand.

Anyone got an idea of the date of the photo, or should I go onto a separate thread for that?

Not very sure about the date but at a guesstimate late1800/early 1900.  Where is Jim when you need him or China  ???

Well Granny doesn't hold any clues to a date but the lady in the background does,around mid 1920's I would suggest.
