Thanks it is very much appreciated, even though it doesn't  name Margaret's father, I think I can now eliminate this one from being mine, as this Margaret is to young to be the one I am looking for. In the meantime I will keep on looking.

Just entered this guys name in a search engine is how I found Rootschat, Thanks. He is my paternal grandmother's brother, I knew his wife's name was Margaret, didn't know her maiden name though. another fact I found is he went of to war in 1917, mentioned in the Auckland war memorial archives. I think from what my father told me he came back but will have to do some more work on him and his wife
