which direction are you talking about eng to or from only find my past has migration records from 1890-1960 and ancestry has immigration records for 1878-1960 plus other numerous records for emigration  they overlap your dates but will probably help

Hello Trevor,

Thank you for your prompt reply re above.  The dates are 1780/1800 and I wondered whether there were any list that covered the trip from Jamaica to England/Scotland during that period and where any such Ship would dock in the U.K.  I know Cyndislist have some early Passenger list, but it is a bit like searching for a 'hat pin in a haystack'.  There is also
the chance that a Merchant Ship would carry Passengers. I appreciate you time.  Anna :)

the records on ancestry are your best bet but they are for a mixture of destinations and ports so it,s more a case of putting in a name and seeing what comes up

Thank you Trevor re above.  The person I am looking for is Elizabeth Fullarton, born in
Jamaica approx 1780 and married in England in 1802.  The marriage was to a Mr. Crawford
Mollison.  There were I believe some Brothers who were Merchants (I do not know in what)
and they all hailed from Scotland.  It would also appear that the Fullarton also came from
Scotland. I hope you have more luck than myself.  Cheers Anna :-\
