There is a Border Crossing for John B. Merrill, age 66, wife Isabella, age 62, and daughter Edith, age 20, entering the US at Babb, Montana, on August 13, 1930. 

Information on the form states that he is a farmer in Hillspring, Alberta; his contact in Canada is son McGrath Merrill; he was in Utah, USA from 1889 to 1899, destination in the US is daughter Jehzell A. Henderson in LaGrande, Oregon.  John has $200 with him; he immigrated arriving New York aboard the Cymric in 1889.

According to a family tree the marriage of Floremce Ada Merrill to Leland Richard Nielson was 27 June 1929 which was one of the missing dates.

Milton Magrath Merrill (died 1986) is buried at Hill Spring, Alberta, Canada with wife Ina.

Fredrick Donald Merrill (died 1984) is buried at Cardston, Alberta, Canada

Laura Grace Merrill/ Wight was born 5 March 1911 and died in 1998. Think that might be Utah. Although it is the wrong middle initial the dates could match on SSDI record for  Laura M. Wight.  Born: 5 Mar 1911 and Died: 5 Oct 1998
Last Residence: 84037  Kaysville, Davis, Utah
