Hi Suz, Yes Pulham .....in 1881 their son is aged 19.

Its only recorded as Pulham Magdalene .....Im afraid my geography on Norfolk isn't great.

Pulham is in the reg dist. of Depwade?

Many thanks.

George Reed was recorded as 48 in 1881
Wife Sarah   ..         ..           as 43 in 1881.
Frederick son       ..               as 19 in 1881

There is another Reed family in the village ...Charles, Sarah with son Frederick but it's the first Im looking for.

Regards.

Curious family in 1861 - dont appear later, dont seem to marry - kids names fit the Reads in 1871

1861 Pulham census Piece: 1233; Folio: 74; Page: 29

George R Hunt 30 Head of Household born Pulham Market: Ag Lab
Sarah R Hunt 26 Wife ditto
Roseanna R Hunt 4 dau ditto
Thomas R Hunt 2 son born Pulham St Mary

Harriet Dye 35 visitor

Also, there is a George Hunt in Pulham of the right age in 1841 and 1851 but no George Read/Reed

Looks good  8)

It looks like young Fred went the Read-Hunt route by 1891.
