Mary Ann Monaghan b 1864 Wexford

I am trying to trace  any nformation on Mary Ann Monagahn b 1864 Wexford

 Ireland

Her father was Robert Monaghan  b Ireland.Mothers name unknown

I am lead to believe she had sibblings

Would some kind person please look upfor me ths family and any church

records.


Mary Ann Monaghan was found on the  1881 Census for  Widnes

in Lancashre. single age 16 a domestic servant.

There is no sign of any of her family beng in  England at that time. Maybe she

 came to England on her own.

Any help finding this family  or any infomation much appreciated

1864 was the first year of statutory registration of births in Ireland. So if 1864 is accurate you may be able to find a birth certificate for her, which will give you her mother's name, as well as some other useful genealogical leads. You can search on the LDS pilot sire:

I can see a Mary Ann Monehan b Wexford 1864 and an Ann Monaghan also b 1864. You can order copies of certs from GRO Roscommon. Ask for a research copy. Should cost €4.
