Hi Davo Brown,

My Grandfather was Arthur Royden Vincent, William's brother. And yes, it is William Henry, not Henery, at least that's what his obituary notice says.

I do have most of the Death dates of Williams children, and I do have Kerri noted in my tree.

Some details cannot be posted on this site.

Please contact me by P.M. by clicking on the scroll on left of page.

Did you receive my P.M. giving you my 'other' e-mail address.

Regards

George  P.S. Who did Faye marry, I cannot make out the surname on William's obituary notice, is it Stels.?

Wow. So excited to see this post as Ronald Henry Vincent is my grandfather. George has enlightened me thanks to this site about granddads brothers and sisters and now I'm hooked on wanting to know everything. For the man who knew grandad and his brothers and sisters what are they all like? I know grandad was a very beautiful gentle man so guess that's credit to his mum and dad. What did his mum and dad like to do? What work did they do? Would love to hear any stories you can remember as my mum passed away seven years ago so her family stories went with her. Kind regards tracey : )

Hi TJM Amazed this post has gone active again after two years. GeorgeRP is certainly your man when it comes to the Vincents, his research into Ronald has been amazing.
My ex wife was a Vincent, the daughter of Ronald's brother William Harold Vincent ( 1908 -1975 )
Can't say we know anything extra about Ronald. Once they left Tasmania in those days it was like they had disappeared off the planet.

Yeah I was amazed too. Are you able to enlighten me as far as who they were when you knew them at all? Up until last week I thought grandad was an only child. Happy to know there are still family members out there yet more curious about my great grandparents now. Especially granddads mum Lilian. Was she lovely? Any lady that has eight children is wonderful in my mind. Thanks again. Tracey

Only allowed 4 pix per post so here's one more of your Great Uncle Leslie Gordon Vincent and his wife Lillian Ruth Walters on their Wedding day in Queenstown Tasmania. Haven't got a Wedding Date but think it was during WW2
Next to them ( on the left ) is William Harold and his wife Gladys Rose Leeman, they were married in 1940

Oh that's so wonderful. Thank you so so much. George has been an absolute sweetheart sharing his knowledge and photos yet I was excited to see someone here who actually knew the family. I was hoping for a photo of lillian and her husband so its great to see her. It's magik how we can tell so much about people just from a photo. So appreciate your help. George has inspired me to forge ahead with our family tree now so have been going through mums boxes of photos like wild today yet haven't found too much yet. Wish she was here to tell me who's who and what in the photos. Thanks again. Tracey
