DENNY from USA to Australia

Henry Oliver DENNY also spelt DENNEY, DENEY or DEWEY was born in the USA around 1876. He married my G Grandmoters sister in Victoria, Austalia in 1906 and died in Victoria in 1942 aged 66 years.

I am trying to find which part of the USA he came from and when he emigrated to Australia.

Have no idea what records are available in USA

When he married - was is as  Henry DENEY?

When he died - how was he registered?

Do either of the documents state a name for either of his parents?

Sorry he died in 1918 aged 42 as Harry DENNY parents unknown

He married in 1906 as Henry Oliver DENEY - I dont have the certificate so have no other information.

When his wife died in 1921 Her surname was registered as DENNY also
