Hugh Burkey

Hugh Burkey married Anne Hughes at Eastham Cheshire on 6 March 1732/3. He had a son Hugh who married Mary Davies on 9 Jan 1764 At Hawarden and they had 7 children of which i have the dates and details. Can anyone find any reference to the deaths of either of the Hugh Burkeys or indeed any details of these men.

Hi Cambs

A member of Clwyd FHS has indexed all the names in Denbighshire and Flintshire. The website is http://www.namesfromclwyd.org.uk/. Burkey is indexed under Birch amongst other corruptions of the name and there are several references to a Hugh which should help you. You will then probably need a look up or you can buy the appropriate parish register(s).
