Jamacia - Birth Query
« on: Thursday 18 November 10 04:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi All,

I'm looking for a needle in a haystack and I hope that someone can help me in my search. I'm trying to trace the birth of one JOHN THOMAS BROWN who, according to the birth certificates of his children in Victoria, Australia, was born in Jamacia c 1825/1826.

Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Tissy

Hi Tissy

Looking on http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=home I can find 18 matches for John Brown or Thomas Brown born between 1824 and 1827. The big problem will be deciding which one fits your criteria!

Hi Tony,

Thank you very much for the lead, at least now I have some names of parents to work on. John Thomas Brown is proving to be very elusive so with names of parents, I may be able to finally pinpoint his death.
Many many thanks.

Regards,
Tissy :)
