Lockton/Levisham Monumental Inscriptions, anybody?
« on: Monday 11 April 05 18:58 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have a book/booklet which would contain inscriptions to Lockton churchyard? It was on the main road from Pickering to Levisham in ye olde days!!

Also, any help for inscriptions in the *OLD* St. Mary's churchyard in Levisham itself.

I'm told that there are Pashbys, Leadlays (Leadleys) and Dixons in there, and I'd appreciate ANY details that I can acquire, please!

Hi Mansfield Terrier

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Are you still looking for this information?  I think the information may be available at Scarborough library so I may be able to look it up if you still need it!  ;)

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hi Ticker!

Bit of an 'oops!' here, as I actually found St. Mary's church late last summer and took the necessary photos. I also found what I was looking for in Lockton churchyard too.

A VERY successful visit to 'the homeland'.  :)
