Christopher Say was born 2 Aug 1801 at St Mary, Little Dunham

With considerable help from Charlotte Hey he produced:

Can some kind person date the marriage and confirm that Christopher's parents are Hugh Say and Hannah Rice and tell me about them?

The familysearch pilot site gives two dates for this marriage so I wonder if just one is for Banns .....

Not sure about the dates for the marriage.... I suppose that there could be any number of reasons why there is the gap between the two dates.

As to Christopher's parentage.... there is a baptism for a Cristopher SAY to Hugh and Hannah nee RICE in Little Dunham 2nd Aug 1801. Since they also had a daughter Lydia... you might have the right parents...

Would you like details of the baptisms of children of Hugh and Hannah??

If you have more than the 8 children I know of, then please send chr info (otherwise I seem to have it - all at St Margarets

And you know what they say about family trees: "Every time I find one ancestor I need then to find two more!"

So what are the chances for a Dad + Mum for Hugh and Hannah?

Also if you have info to help distinguish one John Say from another you could rescue me!
