Young playmates need improve & colour if possible please

Hi,

Please can someone improve & colour this photo if possible it is a copy of a photo so do not have original.
I am the one sitting in the middle & my elder sister is the girl on the front row on the left. The photo was taken in the  1940s.

Its a smashing pic and I can see why you must have it restored, especially due to the old lady in the doorway, bless her ... having a nose   

I am not a colourist, (just a transformer )  but I am going to pop it on the desktop and have a dabble.... will watercolours do

Sorry that was the best scan I could do with this special photo(brings back lovely memories)I did it according to my printer/scanner at 600dpi.
