Hello:
I am trying to trace my family line back to Scotland. The last few generations have came from Ireland. There is an old family tail that we were case out of Scotland because we were horse thieves. I have the earliest Davidson's in Ireland with a Benjamin Davidson being born in 1799. So if this tail is true it would be before 1800. Is there any way of checking?
