McGerty Ballyconnell related to Dolans and Brady & Reilly/Riley

Searching for any information on my Dad's Family from Lahernahone (lecharrownahone), Ballyconnell, Co Cavan.
I have Census information from 1911

Con (presume Cornelius) Age 75
Lizzie (Elizabeth nee Brady)? Age 70 From Templeport
Sons : John, age 30 (my Grandad) - who Married a Lizzie (Elizabeth Dolan) from Corlough, Co Cavan
Edward age 29
There was an older brother also called Con, or was this a nick name...he apparently left after a family dispute over inheritance, and was never seen again. Rumours of him being in Scotland or the US. Can anyone help?

Apparently there is an earlier McGerty Reilly/Riley connction where another Con marries another Elizabeth (Brady)

Any help gratefully received!

NB Noted as McGeerty in Griffith Valuation of 1857 - also says persons owning the land as Patrick and John McGeerty (McGerty), could one of these have been known as Con?

theres no cornelius magerty,s mcgerty,s previous censuses

you will have to get the marriage in bawnboy to see what address and fathers name is .
then get cornelius english 1902 birth to see if matches mother from marriage in bawnboy .

register , go down left side into county cavan , enter magerty mcgerty , you get two mcgerahty results and one magerty .

1875 cornelius birth go advanced enter cornelius as father and brady as mother , 1 result .

1870 cornelius marriage enter elizabeth brady as wife in advanced , 1 result .

I am stunned as to what you have managed to find! You must be a very experienced Genealogist...I am a novice to all this.

I will certainly have a more detailed look atthe information you have given me over the weekend and see if I can make any more connections. I have seen some Magerty's from Barrow in Furness on Genes Reunited. These could be relations of mine. I will contact them to see if we have a link.

The name Con was carried on down the years and the last Con that I know of was a great fiddle player and used to play at all the local functions.I'm nearly positive he passed away a few years ago
