Researching the LOVEBAND family of Yarnscombe, Devon. The family can be reliably traced back to the death of Thomas LOVEBAND in 1598. One branch was established in Bishop's Nympton, Devon in the late 18th century. One or more emigrated to Australia in the 19th century. A sister of my ggg-grandfather William COOKE (1791-1867) married Anthony LOVEBAND (1781-1870) in 1815. A generation earlier my ggg-grandfather's aunt married Thomas LOVEBAND (1732-1808).
