Snedshill Ironworks, Shropshire

HI all

I have a handwritten tree, written by my mother-in-law before she passed on, but with scant information on it.  Her family was involved in the ironworks in Shropshire, so I'm looking for any information on lists of workers.   I have found plenty of info on the ironworks itself, but nothing on the workers.  I'm also trying to prove bmd dates etc.

Thomas Hyde b. about 1781 is said to have worked in Stirchley Ironworks, Salop
Joseph Hyde b. c1783 his brother was in Cookley Steelworks.
Thomas Hyde had 6 children, 5 sons and one daughter Ann.   Joseph had 4, 3 sons and a daughter.  One of Thomas' sons, John 1803-1852, was the manager of Snedshill Ironworks when he died in 1852.

Thomas' daughter Ann I cannot find anything on,  the name A.Bishton as her spouse, but cannot find anyone of that name.  There was  John Bishton who took over the Snedshill ironworks in the late 1700's but there doesn't seem to be a connection that I can find.   Does anyone out there have any info on the families who worked or managed the iron and steelworks please?

This sounds a bit 'muddly' but I hope you can understand the question! Thank you.

Although I can see no connection with your family, you may be interested to know that my great great Grandfather Joseph Brookes was Stocktaker at the ironworks in 1861 and he and his family lived at Snedshill Coppice. The workers at the neighbouring properties, Snedshill Forge Houses, are John Adams - Forgeman Pudler, Samuel Jones - Labourer, Samuel Ellis - Forgeman, John Clay - Furnace Labourer.
I'd be interested to hear any details you may have about the ironworks.

Thank you for your information.
Sorry if the question was abit muddled!   I did originally get quite a bit of information from the internet, which I now cannot find!
My John Hyde's death certificate from 1852 states his occupation as "managing clerk at Snedshill Ironworks" Shifnal, which, as I understand it, is a town in Shropshire which is why I'm trying to find out more about it.
His brother's were also involved in ironworks, occupations forge labourer, forge manager etc.   It is possible that they were involved in the wrought iron industry, but I need to investigate further.
It is awhile since I was doing this research so I need to get my head around it all again!
