Samuel Gibbs 1655-1725 of Great Horkesley Essex
« on: Wednesday 01 December 10 15:37 GMT (UK) »
Samuel Gibbs gentleman of Great Horkesley wrote his will on 24 Feb 1724.  His then wife (his second) was called Elizabeth but I cannot find their marriage details.  Nor can I find the baptism of their daughter, also called Elizabeth,  who was still a minor in 1724.  She was left £2000 in her father's will providing she married with the consent of the executors, her guardians.  One of her guardians was my ancestor John Cooke of Cranbrooke in Kent.

Hi
Do you know the name of this Samuel Gibbs 1st wife - was it possibly Ellen/Hellen/Helena Wittrong?
