One last thing, Please look at 1860 census,I found it in Ancestry, possibly two boys in the family as well. No hurry to-night,going to bed soon.

Hello Austin,

I can't see any further entries for Robert or Samuel.  Did come across a little piece on Ernest Pierce Herrick, the Clergyman husband of Mary Crawford.

Rev. Ernest P.Herrick attended Wesleyan University, Middletown, Conn., 1876-8; Theological School of Boston University 1880-83, licensed as a local preacher, Nov. 1879.

Hi Sandra.
Thanks for the interesting piece on the clergyman.
If you have any sites that cover ships list into Massachusetts, could you please look up Sarah arriving around 1849 the same time as Samuel Crawford. Don,t know if married in Mass or Ireland.
Also I have a will dated 1899 where Eliza Ann Burnett was left money, but was also called Eliza Ann Crawford. Eli9za and Sarah are cousins and both born around the same time in 1828.Both fathers were James
My crystal ball wants me to think the two sisters married two brothers, either in Ireland or U.S. and all travelled together. I don,t have a husbands name for Eliza.
I have looked the church records of the Burnett family but found nothing .
I did a Family Search scan, but found nothing that looked a real possibility.
Looking forward to your observations.

Hi Austin,

Sorry I thought you had that record. The couple married in Springfield. Hampden. Massachusetts 10 April 1855 under Croford.
Father of Samuel was James Croford and Sarah's father was James Burnett.

Also the death of Robert B Crawford 2 April 1861 Milford. Worcester. Massachusetts (parents are slightly mis-transcribed)

Hi Austin,

One thing that did strike me was that on the 1860 Census - Samuel H Crawford was 7 years old. I never found a birth record for Samuel to Samuel and Sarah but I did find one for Samuel H born 1853 (died 1865 Milford. Massachusetts) to Henry Crawford and Sarah Brown   Henry Crawford was also born in Ireland 1817 (father James Crawford and Nancy or Ann Waterson) - could it be a brother of Samuel ?

The birth of Samuel B Crawford 19 Dec 1852 to Henry and Sarah. (So before the date of the marriage of Samuel and Sarah)

Interestingly Henry Crawford died 3rd May 1858 Milford. Massachusetts. (was widowed at that date)

http://www.rootschat.com/links/0amv/   (Henrys Death Record)

Family tree has Sarah's death as 6 Feb 1858 (Can't see a record though)
