Dating this photo

I wonder whether some kind reader is able to date this picture. She must have been one of my Father's relations but sadly I do not know who! Her picture is on a postcard and the photographers name and address is Charles Morris, 77 London Road, Dover ( I think)

Being a postcard would date this after 1902 if it has a dividing line down the back which I'm sure it has.
The lady's dress style looks 1910-14.

Thanks for the information on the card itself (yes it does have a dividing line) and the dress style. It helps to narrow the search down somewhat.

Unfortunately because it's a low resolution scan I can't detect if she's married or not.She has her left hand in a prominent position which was usual for married women.This may help narrow it a bit more.

Hi Jim

I have now been told that the photographer was Charles Harris and not Morris, he was at 77 London Road at the time of the 1901 and 1911 census and enlarging the picture on my pc it does look like Harris, but even enlarging the picture does not show if she was wearing a ring or not. Although I can not find any family connection between the two, my Great Grandmother Minnie Jane Punnett 1865-1936 was Harris before she married, but she was widowed in 1908.

You'd need to rescan the original 300-600dpi to get a good look,but if you don't have you can't.
