Look Up Karrakatta Cemetery Perth
« on: Monday 06 December 10 09:55 GMT (UK) »
Hi.
I live in the UK and two of my relatives are buried in this cemetery.
If anybody is visiting, I would really appreciate a photo of the headstone/grave marker.
The details are:
Elizabeth Harrop, d.27.10.1936, Roman Catholic Area, Section EC, Gravesite 0068A
Anthony Leslie Harrop, d.03.07.1954, Anglican Area, Section ZC, Gravesite 0091

Many thanks in advance.

Martin Harrop :)

Martin you need to enquire that the memorials are still in place.  There is an ongoing programme of renewal at the cemetery -

I have given you the link to their photograph service on another of your requests.

Cheers
Cando

I know for sure this area has been renewed (my father is in this section). The cemetery has taken photos of some of the renewed headstones and will send them out for free, email them and you might be lucky.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
Have some of the headstones been removed in the renewal process?

The EC section was done a while ago and they left about a dozen headstones in place. All the rest were removed and I don't know what they did with them.

They have just renewed another two sections and the headstones that were removed were mounted on a wall along a walkway.
