FTM 2009 Platinum is available on Ebay @ £17.99 with free p & p and also includes 6mths Essentials Ancestry subscription
I bought it last year but messed up the installation. I already had a current Premium sub and when I rang Ancestry to sort out my mess they gave me a free upgrade

Thanks for the info, I need it to be 2010 or 11 version I think as I have Windows 7, so still open to suggestions.

Thanks msr,
The second link looks good but when you add the p&p it made better sense to go for the Amazon deal for the 2011 Platinum which has free 6 months premium to ancestry. 30 squid all in.
So thats what I am doing.

I also bought the Amazon offer of FTM 2011 with 6 months free Premium subscription. When I activated subscription I only got 3 months. I phoned Ancestry and spoke to an American gentleman who took some persuading that the offer was for 6months not 3. Had to read out the Amazon details + the box cover which also stated 6 months membership. I eventually prevailed and the 6 months was added to my existing membership. Be warned.
