I am looking for a Martin Morony who married Kate Clancy about  1838 - 1840  and had 2 daughters  Ann b 1840  and Bridget b 1844 in Co Clare  Martin and daughters came to Australia in 1854

I wonder if Martin was named after his father.
A Martin Morony is shown as living at Moyhill, Kilfintinan in 1855.

Hi Chris   It is quite possible that  Martin was named after his father but all I have on him is he was born 1815 (Clare?)
married Kate Clancy and had two daughters b 1840, 1844
both b Clare. The eldest dau was my husband's ggrand mother. Martin and dau Ann & Bridget came to Australia in 1854.  I'm very gratefull for any info on him
