Warrington BMDs, 1870s-80s
« on: Wednesday 08 December 10 18:59 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to track down some missing Bradbury children who must have been born and died in Warrington in the 1870s-1880s.

I've looked at the Cheshire BMD site and the freeBMD site and the latter has an awful lot more births and deaths listed for Warrington in that time scale!

So, is the Cheshire BMD site incomplete? Or does freeBMD search on a wider area if you specify Warrington, so giving more (unwanted) results?

Help please!!
Bradbury (Sedgeley, Bilston, Warrington)
Cooper (Sedgeley, Bilston)
Kilner/Kilmer (Leic, Notts)
Greenfield (Liverpool)
Holyland (Anywhere and everywhere, also Holiland Holliland Hollyland)
Pryce/Price (Welshpool, Liverpool)
Rawson (Leicester)
Upton (Desford, Leics)
Partrick (Vera and George, Leicester)
Marshall (Westmorland, Cheshire/Leicester)

Hi

The link below shows the coverage of the Warrington Registration District, many of those locations are in Lancashire and those registers are currently held by Register Offices in Lancashire and if they are online will be on LancashireBMD.

The Borough of Warrington was only transferred to Cheshire in 1974.
