I can vaguely remember a melas store in coalville leicestershire located on the high street I think this was when I was a kid in the early 1950 s

I think Melias were predominently a midlands to Yorkshire chain. They had a store in Boston, Lincs, but my relatives in Cambridge had never heard of them.

East England hits are limited to Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk (Lincolnshire is East Midlands)
