1841 Census lookup please Louisa ALLEN Bn Brightwell

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could be so kind to do a Berks 1841 or 51 lookup for my g.g.g.grandmother  Louisa ALLEN born circa 1830 in Brightwell, Berks?

She married George W F Page Bn c 1830 Southampton and subsequently appear on the 1871 in Brighton.

There are no Louisa Allens b in Brightwell on the 1851 census.   The 1841 census requires a visual search so will take longer.

Lydia ALLEN     40
Louise ALLEN    15
Richard ALLEN   10
James ALLEN      8
Frederick ALLEN  5
Joseph ALLEN     3

All born in the County

From the 1851 census, this is the only ALLEN family in Brightwell, ages roughly match however neither Louise or Richard appear.   William is shown b Blewbury, all the rest are Brightwell.

Thanks Harry, I'm relatively new to this game and this is my first exploration into the 41 and 51 census - do they have an address in Brightwell?

No addresses on either census.   I assume that this is actually Brightwell cum Sotwell in the modern day as it was associated with Moreton in 1841.   The other Brightwell (Brightwell Baldwin) is closer to Watlington.

With your help I have now found the majority of the ALLEN children in the 1871 census.

James E a carpenter in Lambeth
Frederick a carpenter in Reading
and Joseph carrying on the family trade of wheelwright in Brighton.

As Louise and Joseph are both in Brighton it seems possible that their parents William and Lydia moved there (more to do on the '61!)
