I actually taped this episode as I was out. I'm watching it now, but for some reason it hasn't really interested me as some of the other shows have - not quite sure why?

Maybe because I couldn't quite get a grasp on all the Italian names - sorry.

I enjoyed it I was wondering when they were talking about putting the babies in the wheel in the hole in the wall. Who takes the babies is it the nuns or was it her ancestor who raised the children who were given up?

A combination of both I think.  Some were raised by the nuns, but Tina's ancestor took some and raised them as her own.  She was the only person recorded to have given them her surname; all the other babies were given fictitious surnames.

i like tina but have allways found her a bit too much of a luvvie for me. it all changed with this show though, she came across as more normal the more the show went on. def the best so far for me. it went back and told a story that was all the family had turned out to be.

During this episode Tina went to an Heraldic Office in Sicily where they had family trees listed of the people in Sicily. Does anyone remember what the office was called.

My sister is currently in Italy and looking for information and I was hoping there was a similar office in our home region that she could go to.
