Hi lizb

According to the 1901 census, Jane was born in 1825

I did make a mistake - it has been a long day
Her husband was born in 1816
JAne was actually born on 24 August 1823!

I dont want details from 1911 census - at some point I have already looked Jane up
I know she was living in Wellington (either Courtland Road or COurtland Terrace) , widowed, with her daughter Mary Hulbert, son in law Ernest H ulbert and daughter Ada Bishop.
Unfortunately I have omitted to make an additional note of the road name and the census reference.

Hi lizb,

Courtland Terrace is in Courtland Road. It is the first terrace of 4 houses which is set back from the road on your left (south side) as you head down Courtland Road from Waterloo Road. The building next to and just beyond the terrace was the old police station.

You should be able to see the terrace clearly on Google maps / Street View (well kept front gardens with the old police station beyond having two green cars parked outside).

Hope this helps.

My interest in Wellington is very  limited as I cannot trace my few ancestors back

I wonder if anyone knows where the Independent Presbyterian Chapel was
