Think you might be searching in the wrong LDS database.

The civil registration index was put in LDS Pilot site a while back (goes up to 1921 for Northern Ireland counties) as well as Irish births, deaths and marriages with more details. The information is now being put into LDS Beta site (both Family Search, the original LDS site, and Pilot site ill be phased out).
https://beta.familysearch.org/#form=advanced-records

If, and at this point it's only an if, Emily Creighton was born 1864 or later and her birth was registered then it should be in the civil registration index.

The I.G.I. (www.familsearch.org) has some, not all, Irish births 1864-c1882 and that seems to be what you were using.

I searched for the marriage on Beta site and found this-
Emily Creighton marriage Apr./Jun.1881 Dungannon district, volume 1, page 649
James Jameson- same details.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

It is very confusing with Family Search, Pilot site and Beta site- unfortunately the 1st to are going to be phased out but hopefully they will sort out the problems on Beta before any more changes.

Emily Jameson nee Creighton was my great grandmother. Her daughter, also Emily, was my father's mother. She was married twice - to Jack Weir and then to Robert Wilkinson - my grandfather. I am interested in learning more about Emily Jameson if anyone has any information.

Hello Dave,
clutching at straws for my "Creighton of Donegal".
I have a Charles Creighton [Craiton] born 1786 Donegal. He died in Uldale near Gosforth England 9.5.1875.He married Sarah Ladlay/Sadlay 4.4.1812 at St. Marys church Gosforth.
Family legend has it that he came from Donegal and as Donaghmore Co Tyrone is just across the rive from Donegal. Is he one of your lot or have you any clues that may assist?
