  Hi Rootschatters   :) :)

My gt grandfather was a gamekeeper  and lived in Keepers Cottage, Llanfynydd, Flintshire he died in 1933.
Can anyone tell me what Estate he would have been working on and who would have owned  the land.
Any help would be really appreciated

  Thanx Lorrae    :) :)

Hi there,

As a guess I think it would have been either the Wynne-Eyton or the Davies-Cooke families.

Both families are large landowners in Flintshire and have been so for a very long time, even before they became hyphenated.

However, I cannot tell you exactly what you wish to know.

Humphreys; originating in Montgomeryshire and spreading out locally, nationally and internationally.
