The MI's of St. Hilarys are available from the Cheshire Family History Society for £3.50.

This is the only one I can see around the right date:

From https://beta.familysearch.org

Walter WILLIAMS, son of William WILLIAMS and Sarah, baptised at Wallasey on 8 Nov 1871.

Do you need census data for him?

Hi Rambler

I dont think the Walter that you have found is the right one
I found this one as well.
I am almost certain that he was born in 1875 and not 1871.
Walter was my ggrandfather. He was married twice, his second wife was Jane Ann Parr.
I have possibly found his first wife but not certain.

Walter and Jane had 3 children, Jane aso had children from a previous marriage and so did Walter. Both previous partners had died.
Walter's parents had a dairy in Wallasey area. There are also other sibling of Walters as well.
I have had a look at the census on Ancestry and I am working on those now.
Its just linking it all up and making the time lines match to the family info that I already have

Thanks

The only other Walter WILLIAMS born Wallasey I can see on the 1901 census is a widower aged 36, with children Francis (10) and Gertrude (3), but that would put his date of birth around 1864....  :-\

Do you have a definite date/place of birth for any of "your" Walter's children?  If not, it would be helpful to get a copy of his marriage cert if/when funds permit to confirm his age and father's name.

If Jane Ann's first married name was SALKELD, she was born in Cumberland c1873 (according to the 1901 census), and apparently married Walter in the first quarter of 1911.  The free index of the 1911 census shows a Jane Ann WILLIAMS born Cumberland  c1873 living in Birkenhead, so maybe worth investing in a few credits?

Added: on Free BMD there's a death for William WALTERS in Wallasey district in 1937 aged 72 - that would match the guy above.

Hi Rambler

Thank you, I have all the info for Jane Ann.
Yes she was Salkeld when she married Walter in 1911.

She was widowed in 1910, at the time she was living in Liverpool.

I am waiting for my Aunt to phone me regarding the birth date for Walter, will let you know when i get it

Thanks
