1841 Census lookup please
« on: Wednesday 13 April 05 16:37 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to nail down my dad's family. They were all born elsewhere but ended up in Berk eventually.

I need a look up for William Maskell b. 1822or1823. He is on the 1851 Census and I'm curious if he shows up on the 1841.

Thanks in advance

Paula,

The 1841 census is not indexed (yet), so will need to know where he is likely to be living, as it is a manual scan through the images.

Harry

Sorry for leaving the details out. They are in Reading, St. Marys.

in the 1851 Census William is living with his wife Fanny at

1 Peacock Yard. In 1871 they are found on Chatam st.

That is all the info I have.

Paula,

Should have realised - I found them in 1851 - Doh !

I've been through the 1841 images for St Mary and I can't find William.   That said, some images are illegible and others are very hard to read.

Sorry.
