Hi Rusty:

I thought I would let you know that I live about 1  1/2 hours away from Cranbrook, and I go there lots for shopping and to go to the family history center  as well.. It is true that we have snow right now.

If you are willing to wait till spring I can go to the family history center and see if I can find anything out for you as I am pretty sure  the local family history society have recorded the obit notices out of the local paper.

Thank you for the kind offer, Like most people on here I've been working on the family history for several years, so whats a few months.

I may however have found a direct link to family living in Cranbrook, so I may get all the info I need there. I suspect they are unlikely to be versed in the art of using Family History Centre's, so I may call upon you if the offer is still open in the spring.
